To whom it may concern

I, Erica Jade, truly find myself between a rock and a hard place.  The music industry is tough to welcome newcomers, unless you offer something in fair exchange.  For artist, that maybe a promise to produce hit records.  While on the business side, it may very well be who you know.  A mentor of mine once told me, that it is often that the door wont open with what you know; rather who you know.  So, the birth of this blog is quite therapeutic through these trying times.  I plan to give my opinions on the business aspect of this industry.  On certain times, you may find the fan within me speaking out as well.
